THOSE BEST LAID PLANS

We at DWG have great intentions, which like so much else, often fall by the wayside. Take this BLOG/Journal. It is our intention to add to it daily or, dread, weekly. But a site must be maintained and we often find ourselves nurturing said site, rather than talking to YOU and keeping YOU up to date and READING good books. That said, please accept this moment's apology. We are doing our best.

Now, speaking of books, check out Leslea Newman's "The Best Cat in the World" -- just published by Eerdmans Books. For more information on this picture book -- and a list of Leslea's other books (an entire library of great reading, trust us) -- see her bio.

Also just released by Sarabande Books is Brian Leung's "World Famous Love Acts." This collection of stories, which won the 2002 Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction, are about "loss, twined irrevocably with hope, a hope that surges below the surface of all life ..." You can read more about the book at Brian's bio page here at DWG.

This page at DREAMWalker Group represents our committment to keep you aware of things happening here at DWG ... and happenings we hear about in your creative world. You can help keep us informed by writing us with your own information at journal@dreamwalkergroup.com.

Another new feature is the "ATTENTION ... Who/What just landed on our desk?" marquee located in the upper right-hand side of our homepage (http://dreamwalkergroup.com). When we receive media announcements or books for review, we'll place them here to notify visitors to the site. We'll also link to the author/artist's bio page here at DWG. For instance, see our first entry, "New Release Notification: Lesléa Newman's "The Best Cat in the World." Click here." We certainly encourage publishers and artists to take it upon themselves to keep us informed by adding us to your mailing lists and putting us on your media lists:
